
If it's not clear, the green area is a hillside covered in painted concrete; the dots are perforated pipe. The trees ARE real - how they survive, I'm not sure. This appears to be the standard approach in Hong Kong for stormwater and erosion control...though not all are painted green.
What a perfect spot for a rope swing! It's a unique approach but I think some might call this greenwashing, literally.
