Though I was a blogging deadbeat for the summer months, there were many blog-worthy moments! I'm going to backtrack and cover a few of them. The first being the super fun Hubei Reunion #6.
This year seven of the ten families we traveled to China
with in 2005 were able to get together for our Hubei Reunion. It was, once again, amazing to see how the
girls have grown and flourished. There
was no “warm up” time required – the girls just ran off and played like good
friends. This year, the plan was to do
nothing but let the girls play and swim; they were thrilled to not go on any
big outings.
And the annual “red couch” photo:

Obviously, 2011 was a much happier red couch experience!
With very little parental involvement required in the girls’ activities, we parents got to just hang out and enjoy each other’s company. No photos were taken to record our non-activity!
We love this annual event!
